GeoGebra is a fairly user-friendly technology "that brings together geometry, algebra, spreadsheets, graphing, statistics and calculus in one easy-to-use package" (GeoGebra, n.d.). In this activity, students will use GeoGebra to find the area between two curves. Before completing this activity, students must have an understanding of how to algebraically find the area between two curves. Once students understand how the area between two curves is calculated, they can use GeoGebra to get the calculations much quicker (about 5 minutes). GeoGebra will not only compute the calculations for students; it also provides a graph so students have a visual representation.
